I purchased a whip of this type many many years ago. I now know NOT to WASTE My time or money on this item. Even from the picture posted here it is clear that the braiding is of the worst possible quality, being uneven and the coloration down the thong (or lash) varies widely, indicating that the plaiting was done piecemeal with no single strip being evenly cut, skived, beveled or even the entire length of the thong. Once the whip literally fell apart, I discovered the core was straw. Of course, it wouldn't crack. If you like singletailed whips, either signal whips, snakewhips, or bullwhips, there is absolutely NO reason to purchase this item. If you're actually planning to USE the whip for impact play, then do yourself (and your partner) a favor and get a quality product from a real whip plaiter that knows how to make a whip. This one doesn't even look good hanging on a wall. The ONLY reason to buy this whip is for a Halloween costume, and frankly, I'd be ashamed to have this poorly made piece of junk hanging on My belt even for a costume. PantherProwLs

This might be ok for a costume, but it doesn't crack the way a well-made whip does, and it's far too unreliable to dream of using on another person. Unfortunately, quality costs a little more than three dollars.

well its a great whip. sadly the leather kinda falls off.. so depends.. if u enjoy having that well worn look in ur toys then its great.. if u like keeping them perfect.. then its not for u
